Replacement door speakers
Anonymous writes "For those of you less inclined to drill holes in your doors, the Sony XS-A1724 has many fitting patterns around the outside of the speaker. The added bonus is that they are £40 from Halfords, and the sound quality is superb!
The attachment is easy. Remove the door card
(one main screw, the screw in the door handle, the door handle surround
and the door close grab), and swap the speakers. Replace door card. I
kid you not - it is that easy!
The only problem you will have is the fact you will need sound
deadening material in the doors - they will vibrate now with the power
of the music!"
