Dandycars will sit with you, show you samples of seats in their showroom and let you dream away to your hearts content - which is exactly what Elle did - and this is the result: Elle chose custom seats, blue piping, blue handbrake gator, leather arm rest, custom door leather and a leather stripe wrapping around the *****pit and onto the dash. Here is a view of the front of the cabin: As you can see the leather is superbly finished. Don't forget Bluebelle is now 12 years old! As you may remember the blue leather steering wheel was a previous mod by Elle so we're pleased to see it not looking out of place next to the new leather. Also a previous mod was Elle's aluminium throughout the cabin, which we think looks good now still: And that's Bluebelle! All of her latest mods completed. All that's left is to collect her - which we're doing tomorrow. When we get her back home we will take some more photographs. I might take some of Elle collecting her too. Hey I might even setup a web cam in the garage just for a laugh - what do you think? All that remains today is to say a big big thank you to Dandycars.com, David Brewster (MD), Paul (Paint guru, who's attention to detail is amazing), Richard (Comedian, man of many talents and also I hear jet-engine car man), Jack (leather master) and Mark Brewster (man with zip and upload skills). David and the crew have done an amazing job for which we are very grateful. We could have taken Bluebelle to a workshop and seriously regretted it. Instead we were pleased there was not one hitch. Thank you guys. Lol, what a great bunch. Anyway. We have lots of photographs that you haven't seen yet and much higher resolutions than the ones here. The plan is to do a photo album online with thumbnails. Not sure if I will have time before the meet but certainly when I get back as I will be adding meet photographs to the site too. Stay tuned, the excitement is not over yet. We still have day 12 to come - the day Bluebelle returns home - featuring Elle's verdict where we can tell you what the car is really like :o) We can't wait!!
