smeegazzle writes "A great place to install a power amp is on the bulkhead behind the passenger seat. If you hot glue some velcro to the back of the amp it avoids having to drill holes (into the petrol tank!) and the seat presses it into place. If you mount it at the right height you can have the carpet flap covering the top of the amp. You can then run the cables under the centre console to the head unit and behind the carpet into the boot for a sub.

Submitted by user: steve100: Ever worried about the safety of items in the boot. With a lever inside the car someone could easily slash the roof and pull the lever (the lock on the console is useless as a quick tug will open it).
